MovieBox has proved itself a must have app for film lovers on the go. It offers users the opportunity to stream or download content, absolutely free, on their portable device, such as an iPhone or iPad. It’s definitely an exciting, and powerful app, but how does it actually work?
MovieBox operates via a torrent service. A small file is hosted online which the user can access, and MovieBox takes the information in this file and uses it to link you with tracker computers around the world. These trackers gather other downloaders together and get them to upload small parts of the file, so that you can download them. These can be accessed in chronological order, allowing you to stream the file.
Before you start using MovieBox, be sure that you are under no illusions that this is a legal service. It’s not. From the moment you begin your download, you are in breach of copyright law.
